The shapes inside the heart are spaced apart just as we are now. Some are almost stormy in nature while others have more consistency in saturation, but none are wholly dark or pure light. Individually the pieces have interesting depth and movement between light and dark. Some sections jump out, easily noticed by their boldness, while others quietly wait for nuances within their subtly to be seen. Together they play off of one another, each one beautifully accentuating its neighbor, drawing the eye throughout the piece. However, it is only when the individual is forgotten for the sake of the whole that we see that it is not space that divides but in fact pure white that binds and shapes it.
